The Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment and the Sabin Center on Climate Change Law has an entire database of more than 1200 policies involving 164 countries of the world. With time there is increase in the number of climate laws and the number is 20 times more than that it was in 1997. The database gives us an insight into the different approaches followed by the developed and developing countries. After the Paris Agreement in December 2015,47 more laws were passed. The world’s Least developed countries are getting more active on these climate laws or policies. Climate Change 2019 will make everyone more aware about the climate laws and different climate policies and would help them in implementing in their respective countries.
