Climate Change and Agriculture

Climate Change and Agriculture Photo

Climate change and agriculture go hand in hand. Climate change affects agriculture in a negative way and it has direct influence on the food production. Studies have revealed that future climatic changes will have negative impact in the crop production mainly in the low latitude areas whereas effects may be either positive or negative in the northern latitudes. The variations in rainfall pattern, temperature, soil management affects the crops in turn food production which creates insecurity of food in future. As different crops are adjusted to certain weather conditions any change to the climate is obviously going to have impact on it. The Climate Change 2019 will give us a scope to know what defense mechanism to implement so we would have a food secured future ahead.
